Creating Presets, Patterns & Custom Brushes

I used the soccer ball tube image to create a custom brush. In the first three examples I used a rainbow gradient, then the seamless tiling effect.

The next image shows four patterns applied with the custom soccer ball brush. The curve was created using red button gradient with opacity increasing at increments of 10.Then a couple more variations on the tiled background.

I scanned in a pastel piece created by my daughter Grace. I created a seamless tile from part of the sky. Then I created two custom brushes from two of the buildings. For the soccer season picture below, I created a seamless tile for the night sky, and a gradient for the soccer ball brush moon. I put together a quick star tube to shape a cleat constellation booting the moon.
